Water Ingress

Hi Have an annoying water leak on the van. The leak is visible around the drivers side courtesy light switch. Removed the switch and the leak seems actually to be from just behind the dash lower bolt. Remove the bolt, no water from inside the cavity. Suspect the screen seal, though can’t see the tra...

nicq wrote: 10 Oct 2020, 17:18 Surely if you roll it all up on the pole there's nothing to hang down, just start from the bottom and roll it to the desired length?

Possibly, the main kador strip will then be rolled up, wouldn’t have thought it would then fit into the gutter..

Re: Drive away kador and figure of 8

It’s weird how this awning leaves the black kador strip hanging down enough to foul the door.. Plus during really heavy rain ( not that we get much of that.. lol ) the gutter doesn’t seem to drain and the drips are annoying., After fitting the awning rail to the van the awning fits great, but then I...

Re: Drive away kador and figure of 8

Tried pole and clamp.. the Vango Faros awning I have had the sleeve for the pole on the ‘outside’ of the awning bead, so the awning kador strip sits underneath the gutter, just enough to foul the sliding door.. So fitted an awning rail to the high top of the van.. But now have the fact that it ain’t...

Drive away kador and figure of 8

Hi
Bought some kador strip and 3 sections of figure of 8 to attach to my camper/ awning..

Seems a pretty crap system to me!!
The rain leaks past the strip, and also where the figure of 8 joins..

Can’t see how else to use this.. but will ask anyway!!

Cheers

Re: Oil Pressure Problem?

Only problem with mine is that at some point over the last 30odd years the stock system was ‘modified’, so now have only one pressure switch, which am okay with tbh...

Oil and filter changed religiously by the PO every 6k, I’ve done the same so pretty much all I can do..

The short piece that’s braided kind of..
Mine looks decidedly tired...
I know normal hose might collapse so would prob need some kind of reinforcement..
