No output from Alternator to rev counter

Been struggling with this one for a while .Had the alternator re-conditioned before we went off on holiday hooked it up no output to the rev counter ,at this point too late to get a new one . Easy solution I’ll buy a new one but unfortunately a JX 90 amp doesn’t fit a 1Y engine has been fitted with ...

Use your boroscope inside the arm you might find a nasty surprise in there at the mounting piont where the rubber bush is .Mine was rotted away inside with no obvious external corrosion until I cut them open < I was replacing them anyway but I did think how long have these been like this .

Check out Vanguy.net for steering rack stiffeners I’ve fitted these and it’s made a big difference to the van especially in the wind .
