1983 westfalia high top to pop top
Hi all, I’m looking at the option of changing my high top to pop top. Would this be a straight forward job to carry out or is it more involved? I like the high top for ease of use but strong wind does effect driving whilst on motorways. Please could anyone with any knowledge of this job or which you...

Re: Indicators not working after removing dash to fit blower
Thanks for replies, Will check the earth crown. Looks like from the picture it’s next to the drivers door ( left hand drive)? Can you get to it with the dash in ? Like I say there were two wires that I’ve put on to one of the screws holding the fuse box in. They have not got rings on them so wouldn’...

Re: Indicators not working after removing dash to fit blower
Thanks for reply, i think I’ve put the brown wire you are talking about on to the left fuse box screw with another earth wire. Not too sure where you mean by A frame? Where do you mean and would it matter if it’s earthed at fuse box?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: 1983 Westfalia speedo reading too fast
Yes, when I got it it had 16 inch alloys with 55 tyres. I've now changed back to original steel wheels with 185 14 tyres. The speedo also goes up and down when speeding up or down.
Any ideas?

This is also putting more mileage on than I'm doing. If anyone knows why this is e.g. problem with cable etc please let me know. Also it's a problem ...
