Re: Fizzing and Smoke
Thanks BigHerb, The wire is burnt all along it's length, the spade on the fuse box is now bright bronze (from the heat). Ordered a full set of fuses, to ensure the fuse box is setup correctly, as I'm assuming the wrong rated fuse was inline with the ignition wire. Also it seems a tidy up is required...

Re: Devon Moonraker roof - internal security strap
Thank you Pete,
I have some webbed buckle straps taken from a car dog container thing.
I will use them for security/strength and quick release.
Cheers.

Fizzing and Smoke
OK, scary evening.. Having tested an in dash USB charge port, in the house connected to a zig unit's 12v output, and then in the van connected to fuse 10 (I want it only powered with the ignition). I confidently cut the hole, installed the USB outlet, attached the positive to Fuse 10 and negative to...

Re: LED replacements for fluorescent
I highly recommend these 12v Warm white, activated with a push button, LED light. I found it has two brightness settings. I'm in the process of reworking my lights. I will put 4 in the main area and one in the engine bay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321904977976" onclick="window.open(this.h...

Devon Moonraker roof - internal security strap
My T25 has the Devon Moonraker Roof, with external latches but does not have an internal security strap. This came to my attention after finding a document online, which covers the elevating roof, which explicitly refers to a third internal strap. I would like to instate the mentioned strap for extr...

Re: sliding door lock repair
I completely agree,
There isn't much on-line about the inners of the sliding door handle.

Re: sliding door lock repair
MBCamper, I think you have just given me what I have been looking for, for ages... the orientation of the little spring has been annoying for hours. I can not get it to engage correctly (after moving the barrel to an altwenative handle). If anyone has any further words of wisdom, please do share. I ...
