Early Bay T2 with petrol engine 1.6 has difficulty in running and suspect a ‘sensor’ fault!?! Have removed this Sensor Unit but cannot identify which sensor it is !?!? No Part No on it either.
Can anyone Identify the part please? And where to obtain a replacement?
Thank in advance.

Alternator/water pump drive belt - adjustment
Hi 80-90 guys There always seems a need to make adjustment to the tension of my drive vee belt ! Once I hear a squeal I know it needs adjustment I.e. lift the alternator a wee bit ! I have a 1.9 TD 1990 Vanagon Campervan Is the stretching of the drive belt normal ? Does everyone have that problem? A...

Re: Electrolux fridge - not cooling
I have now had success after 47 Posts and highlight my final actions as follows:- 1. I removed the flue pipe lagged area to check there was good contact between flue pipe and ammonia gas pipe. https://i.imgur.com/782Lh9s.jpg The gas brass jet/nozzle was soaked in carburetor cleaner and finally blown...

Re: Electrolux fridge - not cooling
Firstly, thanks to all responders for your thoughts and practical suggestions on how to resolve my fridge problem. I have yet again removed the fridge, it’s burner unit and double checked the brass jet orifice ( I boiled it for a while to dislodge any possible obstruction!) and when viewed in darkne...

Re: Electrolux fridge - not cooling
Hi guys, Porkscratchings asked my location, well, I’m now in Gibraltar. Earlier in the posts it mentions ‘quality of gas’, the last filling I did was in Hereford UK, however I usually fill in France, Spain or Portugal ! Maybe there is a ‘quality issue’, but I’m doubtful because the hob burners work ...

Re: Electrolux fridge - not cooling
Hi RogerT, thanks for the photos which shows the baffle very well, BUT your fridge is a different model, hence the loose baffle. I agree, the flue on my RM184does get very hot at the top Tee, thats why i thought I could introduce some sort of additional baffle to concentrate the flame heat lower dow...

Re: Electrolux fridge - not cooling
Photos of fridge flue modified to gain access and cleaning same.

Photo of flue lower end with burner unit detached. The first/fixed baffle constriction can just be seen

Re: Electrolux fridge - not cooling
Thanks again for inputs guys. As previously stated, I did run on mains 220v with Temp Knob rotated clockwise to Max and got ice on the fridge fins etc, So, im doubting the thermostat or gas cycle to be a problem ! Its difficult to see or hear a flame change when adjusting the temperature knob, howev...

Re: Electrolux fridge - not cooling
Still a mystery ? I have removed the fridge, removed the gas jet which is clean and clear as is the burner tube. The flue pipe is the same configuration as described by Max, i.e. there is no loose adjustable baffle, only a few internal protruding/fixed constrictions at the lower end of the flue pipe...
