The engine over heated after 23 miles called RAC they did a pressure check for spilt hoses, water pump or head gasket, as there wasn't any coolant in either tanks, but both where checked before leaving home and were at correct levels, everything fine. My 1982 1.9 Aircooled has just suffered the same fate, I have been told you cant get helicoil kits anymore. Are Keenserts any good? When you take the head off I have been told that the manifold bolts have a habit of snapping off, anyone else had this problem?
