Re: Leaking windscreen??

I had the same problem after having a new screen fitted last year, even after calling the fitters back out to reseal it. It seemed to come in the passenger side bottom corner and would puddle in my glovebox. I fixed it myself in the end with captain trolley's creeping crack cure. Great stuff and its...

Re: 3/4 rock and roll with integrated belts

M1 seem like a decent outfit, I will fit one of their units when the time comes. Have seen one fitted into a van, very sturdy... I got a M1 bed. I've not experienced others but, they are ok. Could be a bit more refined on the welding and construction. Going from bed to seat you have to lean over an...

Brilliant, thanks. That will justify the postage for the 80p dip tube seal I need to buy.

Re: 1.6d cs engine fan belt size, is mine right?

yes would normally be two belts, one from crank to water pump (middle/double) pulley, another from the pump to the alternator. Running a single belt as you are at present shouldn't pose any problems provided it contacts well on all pulleys/everything is turning and you've obviously not had a proble...

Re: 1.6d cs engine fan belt size, is mine right?

I now have a new fan/alternator fitted. I went into motor parts direct (very helpful) we went through all the options for my engine and I decided on a 10 x 875. Close to the size of the 912 one that came off but puts it away from the end of adjustment. It fitted ok so all good. But having a better l...

Re: Diesel to petrol

I'd be interested in the answer. I got a 1.6d cs but the van was originally petrol. With all the news about clamping down on diesel I'm thinking I should switch it back. Maybe a nice Subaru engine

What did you think of yours when I came? Mines all in and working fine, not sure I'd buy the same one again though if I was to do it again.
