yes would normally be two belts, one from crank to water pump (middle/double) pulley, another from the pump to the alternator. I'd be interested in the answer. I got a 1.6d cs but the van was originally petrol. With all the news about clamping down on diesel I'm thinking I should switch it back. Maybe a nice Subaru engine
