The reason I thought there was a transformer was because underneath the rock n roll bed is a black box about 10 inches long by about 6 wide and 4 deep this started producing a low humming noise and got quite warm when it was connected...

Yes was left for a couple of days before trying it on the mains after being on the gas, had it on mains hookup for 7-8 hours yesterday but nothing seems to have happened - should I be giving it longer

What am I doing wrong with my fridge, I can get it to work through the gas but when connected to mains
Hookup nothing is happening ie going cold, the transformer seems to be working ok power in - power out just not going cold
