Morning!
Does anybody have a powder coating paint code for the equivalent of a body colour L90D? For the refurbishment of the wheels,
Thank you,
Ade

Re: Alternator failing or wiring?
Super - thank you. I will find a voltage meter in the morning and first check if the alternator is giving good 14+ V.
Where does the bright red thick cable go to? - (not the 3rd poor condition connection), please

Alternator failing or wiring?
I’ve just completed a 350 mile trip in a T3 DG 1.9 to the Lakes. The voltage was oddly low; hovering around 12V and just under. I went to check the alternator and the wiring. The blue and the thick red are fine with solid connections The lowest wire (orange/red??) is really sorry looking. Old copper...

Re: Oil leak: that strange rare feeling…
Got the new pressure switch; super quick from Brickwerks.
Does it need a seal or ptfe tape, or nothing?
Thank you.

Oil leak: that strange rare feeling…
Fearing the worst; as oil was dripping continuously from the centre block directly under the pushrods… Can you imagine how nice it is to spend 90 min getting the covers off the blooming exhaust nuts onkynro find it is the oil sender that is peeing out oil. Oh my days! Feeling good and off to bed. An...

Re: DG 1.9 New carb not running well
Thanks for this "I have a Weber on mine and they run and pull extremely well when on song." So putting the cost to one side - if I can get it going, it will be a good thong to have changed the carb? Or I could go back, given the last one (if my issue was really the 'dizzy'!, was one for 13...

Re: DG 1.9 New carb not running well
Thanks. Think I got this wrong to agree to the carb change.. got my mind on two things - and should have just looked at the problem I had. A new coil and distributor would have been quick and well worth a long drive to checkout. I just hope the original problem has now gone. I think the carb part of...

Thank you both.
Can I assume that if I keep the expansion bottle inbetween max and min, this means the engine is full up?

DG 1.9 New carb not running well
Can you please help me with a question? I've had my original carb replaced by a weber conversion that I bought a few years back - had been on the shelf since. I regretting this, but I had problems on long journeys of juddering/power loss (rpm gauge really jumpy), then smooth again for 20+ miles, the...

Re: T25 - 1985 - Coolant leak from engine head
Thank you, appreciated. Is there a worse case scenario here - drips become a stream - or a total loss of seal and coolant gushes.... I guess what I mean is can I get away with topping up, and can she 'fail' such that everything is lost. I mean this as a 'too close to holiday to fix'. Not intending t...

T25 - 1985 - Coolant leak from engine head
Please can you help me with 'how bad' this is? I have a leak on the offside head, a few drips, clearly water/coolant/antifreeze mix. So I first thought, engine out, or head off, and replace rubber seal which I guess has cracked/dried/etc. In order to understand more I looked at photos, my books and ...
