it's definitely a carb issue, as the carb that came off wasn't doing this.

Thanks for the response though

Maybe I'd better start looking at a JK weber ( when they have more in ) unless someone has any good alternative ideas

Flatspot on pierburg

I have a huge flatspot on my pierburg on 1.9 engine, just as you touch the throttle, sometimes it'll even stop the engine, any ideas?

Also can anyone recommend someone who does a complete refurb ? I have three pierburgs and would like one completely sound one

I have 195/65/16's and they give about the same rolling radius as stock wheels , with the added advantage of being available in commercial form :)

I've had an autohomes pop top and now have leisuredrive, I can definitely say the autohomes roof is roomier and longer than the leisuredrive one

Autohomes used to supply a little fluorescent to go into it, usually got lost or broken though, I think Holdsworth did similar too

Leisuredrive cupboard catches - replacing??

Is there anyone who sells the catches that leisuredrive used to their cupboards, or can anyone recommend something else that will fit?

I'm fed up of them all swinging open

Water hose needed

Can anyone recommend a good supplier for the short water hose from the back of the thermostat housing that goes to the inlet manifold?

Does anyone know the original part number for 1.9DF heads?

Not the later DG ones, but the earlier DF ones with the small valves?

Probably something beginning with 025 101 ***

How do I check which clutch my 1.9 has?

I'm getting my engine changed from DF to DG next week and want to get a new clutch fitted, how can I tell if I have 215mm or 228mm ?

It's 1989 DF running 4 speed box, do I need to find a g/box code?
