anyone know what size shocks will fit a lifted 2WD with westy springs on 15" mefro
conflicting views Gowesty say you can use stock shocks other views say longer ones ?!
got AVO at the mo ,was thinking maybe the 14"Syncro shocks would work ???

The thing is I was away in Devon and had to go to the nearest garage to get it replaced ,they changed the whole thing but don't know what one they replaced it with , so could be a cheap one , it cost me about £240 fitted, didn't have a choice really I was on holiday .....

ill try that , when I said driveshaft I meant the whole thing shaft and CV's (gearbox and wheel) as just changing one cv I may as well change the whole unit,

thats my problem just won't idle properly , no OBD ,its a miss mash of a engine been looked at by 3 mechanics now just had enough of it now the cost of changing it over is still gonna cost me more than maybe a GTI or whatever to put in it im sure ?its a ball ache

No not able to get any fault codes wouldn't know where to start with that one so it ain't anything to drastic then ? Hopefully just a bit of tweaking here and there

Hi got a Subaru EJ20 and drives ok but when I'm at a standstill after a run in it it's seems to be idling very lumpy now up and down with the revs any idea please ?

just been told it could be because i haven't got a speed sensor fitted , don't think i have so does anyone else have any thoughts on this? sounds like that is the problem as it only does it when I'm cruising at the same speed for a while

I always disconnect both batteries if I leave it connected for a few months they lose power.,my boss who has an old triumph has his set up on a trickle charge so it never goes flat . . So will my battery lose a lot if I disconnect them and just sit there or will they be ok , do I need to keep them ...
