Re: Jump start device
Hi I have a Noco GB40 https://www.halfords.com/motoring/battery-maintenance/jump-starters/noco-gb40-1000a-jump-starter-721898.html, it is a really good piece of kit. Simple to use and small enough to tuck away for family emergencies! It isnt the cheapest available, but you get a good quality product...

Re: How do I convert panel van to have side windows
Hi, Why not see if you can get a 2nd hand sliding door with window already in place, fit it and see if it suits your plans. Keep the uncut door and if you decide to sell in the future, you can offer the option of returning to panel Van. My van was originally a panel Van and had been converted this ...

Overhead dvd player
Hi, came across a wiki article regarding stereo feed from both starter and leisure battery via 5 pin relay. I have a overhead dvd player, which is wired solely to leisure battery. Would this 5 pin relay set up work for my dvd.

AAZ exhaust
Hi, I wonder if anyone could advise on what exhaust I require for my AAZ conversion. The conversion was done before the P O so can't be sure what parts were used. It was originally a JX.

Re: Bearmach land-rover wing mirrors
Just done this upgrade and it's lovely to be able to move the arms as well as the mirrors to suit. I used 4 new seals and found this helped the bracket sit nicer on the door.

Re: AAZ/ABL injector fuel lines
Hi Just a follow up about my recent fractured fuel line. Unable to track down a replacement locally, I eventually found one in France via a firm called Mechatechnic. Ordered on Tuesday afternoon and arrived Thursday afternoon at a total cost of £49 including delivery. The pipe was a genuine VW part ...

AAZ/ABL injector fuel lines
Hi guys
I have a fractured AAZ injector fuel line to cylinder no:2 and am finding a replacement really hard to source. I have come across a set for a ABL engine and they look identical, does anyone know if they are compatible at all.
Kevin

New battery
Hi
After a few near misses, the cold weather last night, finally done the starter battery. Purchased and fitted new one and wow, what a difference it has made. Never had it turn over so quickly!

Re: AAZ oil leak
Hi
update on the oil leak, turns out it was the turbo oil feed pipe, which was leaking from the union and dropping down onto the area I thought leak was. all sorted now.

Re: table
Hi
I bought a sequoia table leg system off eBay and a skim board from a autojumble. Really easy to fix together and mount in van if you have plywood floor like mine. When not required, it lives in overhead cupboard above rear seat, as van is a tintop.

Hi
Thanks for replies, good to see it's repairable. Had a few horrible thoughts when I got out of van and saw the mess it had made on the road and back of van!
