I am still baffled by the pop top on my van. I at first thought it was a autohomes, but looking at the roof and the way the front and back bits hinge outwards, I now don't know. I have looked everywhere on t'internet for similar and did find one for sale, but it never said what the conversion was! :...

I hope you dont mind me borrowing this thread, as the issue is about 2.1 thermostat housing. I had 3 bolts snapped from the middle (yay) when trying to replace thermostat. Managed to get two of them out (by welding.. sigh..) but this last one aint going away, and it is in such a spot no drilling is...

Surely that is something you could get a drill on if you took the whole housing off. Or am I missing something?

I took her out for a 5 mile run today. I chose the two steepest hills locally and gave her a good run. She never got above halfway on the temperature gauge and took a couple of miles to get above the quarter mark. She pulled like a train and drove like a dream!

So now I have had an hour to think things over, I am totally confused. I drove this van back from Wales in very hot weather knowing full well it had overheating issues and it was absolutely fine. It didn't get hot or boil at any point. I drove it around for three weeks last summer and she went great...

Well. She is up and running. I filled her, let her run and opened the bleed valve on the rad and brimmed her. She has been running for 50 minutes and hasn't overheated yet. I gave her some high revs after 40 minutes to get the temp gauge up to half and to try and get the fans to kick in and she move...

It's all back together now, but I had forgotten to charge the battery ( schooboy eror ) and she was too low to turn her over so, I will be starting her up to fill her tomorrow.

Still can't load pictures without access to photobucket.

On a serious note. I am having trouble uploading pics to this site. I never used to when I first joined as poptop2 years ago. However since I have had to rejoin and have restricted access to photobucket I have had problems adding pics. Any advice on that would be helpful. Please don't suggest openin...
