Hi all its insurance renewal time next month, I now have (AFN 110 tdi) and will be fitting flipped later box this year. which insurance company's do you guys use? i was with Adrian Flux, but would like someone who dose breakdown just in case.

I've managed the AFN Passat TDI 110 engine conversion and now fully understand why the standard box even though it's a five speed needs to be swapped from the Passat (DHF). I've considering Tim's adaptor plate and drive flanges, what are the options for gear linkages? Is there only expensive porche ...

Great info guys thanks very much, I've got the wire traced. Laptop is now knackered but at least I have the wire ready.
Are there any common causes of power drain battery goes flat over a week but it did this before conversion.

Can anyone tell me where I have to conect the green wire from obdII to, I've ordered a cable but it won't help if it's not wired.
Or a wiring diagram if anyone can direct me. AFN 98 Passat two plug ecu immobiler in clocks.

Dose anyone know which electrical conector goes to the pump and which goes to crank sensor as I didn't label them
They both have three pins and both reach.

That engine mount is mint, very In spiring, thanks for the link I've had a quick read. Wich turbo oil return oil return did you use the one into the jx to the sump or afn Passat one. Cheers for your advise Tom K

I did a tdi conversion from a mk 3 golf AHU and found great support from vwt4 forum and brickyard. but it seams this is a more involved and less people have done it, plus even less Wright ups. wiring seam grey area.

Hi I'm in process of swapping my 1.6 td with a 1.9 tdi afn, is there a guild on here with pics? What ancillaries so be used. I understand there might be a conflict between the turbo and engine mounting but I'm sure that can be overcome.
