Re: New awning - advice needed

Re: My first van!!

Mind the little ones don't get too hot in the roof if the sun is on them. You are not wrong there! The ...

Re: My first van!!

So, a bit of an update. Hope Im not boring anyone with this thread. To be honest, its more of a reminder for myself as to what I've done than a build thread as I know there is a lot of bodges on this (temporary I hasten to add) The other half has been putting more pressure on to get out camping this...

Re: Gas canisters, what size?

I have a couple of spare cylinders in the garage if you want them, one is smaller , the other is the middle size, both are empty so will need refilling. I can't post them so if you can arrange pick up from HP9 near M40 they are yours. Only just seen this but I'm in Essex anyway so a bit far, apprec...

Gas canisters, what size?

Have just cleaned up the gas hob in my 84 Devon conversion and change the pipes for the gas feed. I was using the canister from my bbq which is far too big but was only for a test run but it struck me that there isn't much room in the cupboard to put a bottle so what size do I need to stow it in the...

http://i1044.photobucket.com/albums/b450/stephen_lane2/056_zpselofkovw.jpg More paint went on this weekend and I'm starting to see how nice this will look. The finish isn't blemish free but is a massive improvement on what was there before. I also think that bit by bit it some parts will come back ...

Re: New to spray painting - General advice and tips needed.

Hi Steve There is a lot of good DIY spray paint advice on http://www.mig-welding.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. I've read that spraying 2-pack without a booth/air-fed mask is a no-no. Sounds like my van is in a similar condition to yours - seam rash here and there, ...
