Re: Opinions on this bed please
Hi Mike My name is Danny. We're painting a T25 up today so will have some pics for you by close of business. Sorry in advance for the model in the picture but it's the best we can do (we're an ugly bunch). If you click on the below link, I've uploaded 2 videos of our T5 beds being pull tested. They ...

Hi Jonathan
It's got to be in the middle due to the buckle. It's due to ease of access.
Thanks

Re: Opinions on this bed please
The actual mounting point of the inertia reel is behind the seat where the bed is at it's strongest. There is then another attachment which is bolted above the passengers shoulder like in most vehicles. We only use E9 approved seatbelts. Hope that answers your questions.

Re: Opinions on this bed please
Haha. The pull test purely tests the bed and is not installed in a van when tested. This means that the specific design is now pull tested no matter what van it goes in. Then there is a crash test where a bed is installed in a specific van model for example a T5. The van is systematically wrecked in...

Re: Opinions on this bed please
Hi Mike Ah right. The pull test simulates the forces sustained on a bed during a crash. This tests whether or not the bed can take the forces involved and therefore passes or fails. Don't quote me on this but I've yet to see a pull tested T25 bed. Hope that answers your questions. Many thanks M1 Cam...

Re: Opinions on this bed please
Hi Mike
I don't understand what you mean about the pull test as our T25 hasn't been pull tested. We use 25x25x2 & 50x25x2.5 steel as standard for all our beds.
Thanks

Re: Opinions on this bed please
Hi Mike Sorry for not getting back sooner. We haven't got any T25's in at the moment as we make to order. We are due to produce some this week so I will upload some pics for you. Our T25 hasn't been pull tested but we use the same steel that we use for our pull tested T5 models. Feel free to give us...

Re: Opinions on this bed please
Hi We've just finished our 1st model of our amended T25 3/4. Just thought I'd upload a few pics. We've put a vertical bar on the centre of the backrest that ads added ridgity to the top seat belt mounting points. We've also connected the bottom seat belt mounting points at both ends. Let us know wha...

Re: Opinions on this bed please
We are putting 3 vertical bars on the back rest of the seat to give added ridgidity as well as welding an additional bar to each of the seat belt mount points so that the mounting points are connected to the bed at both bottom & top. Hope that makes sense, I'm not very good at explaining things.

Re: Opinions on this bed please
Hi We are the Manufacturers of the T25 that Les posted a link to in the 1st post. We are always working on ways to improve the safety of our beds. We are now adding 3 extra rear support bars as standard. If there are any suggestions your input would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks M1 Camper Beds...
