Anyone now of a trimmer capable of replicating the front door cards on a Westy Atlantic, I still have the damaged ones with cloth insert.

Buy what you can afford, yes the Westy's are good but so are a lot of other vans.

I fitted a Weaco compressor fridge in the T4 I had, didn't last a night and that was on a 110 amp leisure battery.

looking at buying another T3, is there a great deal of difference between petrol & diesel vans, give me your opinions fuel economy, reliability etc etc etc pro's and con's please Sandancer I am just across the river in North Shields, my van is diesel, more than happy for you to have a look and ...

Is anyone using a memory foam mattress in their vans and if so are they any good and have you any recommendations ?

When I had a similar issue Mark, it was the timing

It could just be the winder is worn and needs replaced, or the whole mechanism is goosed, either way you are going to have to strip down to find out, not a big job.

Used to go there as kid in the summer, gorgeous part of the country, loads to do and see around Moray, I would go up A1 to Edinburgh, head for Perth A90, then on A9 up to Aviemore and cut across toward Grantown on Spey then Keith on the A96, fantastic views.

I would presume then, that if I buy one of these, I can permenantly wire to my leisure battery and 240v RCD/fuse box and when I am on hook up it will top up my leisure battery
