I fitted a Weaco compressor fridge in the T4 I had, didn't last a night and that was on a 110 amp leisure battery.

It could just be the winder is worn and needs replaced, or the whole mechanism is goosed, either way you are going to have to strip down to find out, not a big job.

Used to go there as kid in the summer, gorgeous part of the country, loads to do and see around Moray, I would go up A1 to Edinburgh, head for Perth A90, then on A9 up to Aviemore and cut across toward Grantown on Spey then Keith on the A96, fantastic views.

I would presume then, that if I buy one of these, I can permenantly wire to my leisure battery and 240v RCD/fuse box and when I am on hook up it will top up my leisure battery :idea
