Do yourself a massive favour and talk to Aidan. I managed to kill my gearbox at the end of last year and he brought it back to life. Hundreds of miles later and it is as smooth as silk. A true gent into the bargain as well!!

I had exactly this problem with my '88 1.7 ky diesel. After new glow plugs, new fuel filter, manual priming pump from a Peugeot 406, you name it, I caught sight of a snippet of info in the wiki regarding a non return valve. £6 and ten minutes later the problem was solved. my fridge!
Hi Just to let you know - when we got to Devon ad plugged into the hook up, the fridge worked!!!!We were sooo happy, cold beer and wine all week - which was jst as well as the weather was diabolical! Hi there Just to let you all know, we called a fridge engineer and he suggested taking the knob off and trying and blow me down, it worked. Thanks for all the replies, plenty of food for thought. When taking the fridge out, where do you disconnect the gas? and do you have to remove the outside vents first?

Hi there We bought our 1988 Autosleeper in February and have not been able to get the fridge to work on gas. The pilot light ignites but goes out once you release the gas control knob.
