Re: Insulation
I will buy some more to do the front. 5mX0.5 only just covered the engine bay. Want to do the front cab. The guy also advised me to put a square (as opposed to completely cover) on each panel to help take out the rattles. I will insulate with their another product with is like a 22mm foam with foil ...

Thanks I think I will have to change the cog anyway as Aidan said that my engine probably doesn't like running over 3000rpm at 70

Insulation
Just wanna say that I fitted a product called Dead Mat that I bought from eBay around my engine bay and it has made a massive difference to the noise. I did it myself. and saved about 50% compared to noise killer.
Anyway happy with myself so thought I would shout about it.

changing final drive
So I am getting quotes to change the final drive and our favourite gearbox guy is chocca block for the next 4 months. Anyway I had a 1.6td 1990 t25 and the head gasket blew so have transplanted a 1.9 afn engine in. Runs really nicely but when you get near 70 it starts shouting at you. Will probably ...

Ideal wheel size
OK so I have been reading around but can't find the right answer. There probably isn't one. Anyway I will be changing my final drive gear on my gearbox but before I do that I want to upgrade my wheels so I don't have to do it again. I like Mercedes Wheels but I don't know which size to get. Is there...

Is there a basic guide to buying alloys somewhere
Hi Is there an idiots guide to buying alloys somewhere? Like middle size must be.... PSD should be.... Wheel size should be ideally.... or is it really not that simple? I saw some lovely Audi 18" alloys the other day but the wheel wouldn't fit without taking the cap off the centre. I was gutted

Octavia 1.9 Engine Swap
Does anyone know if a 2004 Octavia Engine will fit into a T25? I've been offered one it's not the PD.
I've been told to take the car and then return it to the yard less the bits I want.
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers

Re: Electrolux fridge
Just a quick thing about fridges. Does anyone just use a beer fridge in their van and is there any problems with this. I know fridge companies say not use plug in a fridge for a few hours until it stops moving
