ok, im going to do this before saturday when we go to brighton breeze, i know what oil but dont know how much the garbox holds, any help appreciated.

Sticky gears when hot
After driving 60+ miles yesterday up the A3 i noticed my gears where getting sticky and clunky when we came off, is this time for a gearbox oil change?

It would appear i have GSF ones, so used orderd some JK ones with the central slot, well see if this helps.

I couldn't answer that honestly. All I can say is I had some cheap pads from Europarts recently... and they are just doing my head in with the squealing I'll be fitting better pads next year. In the meantime it's out with the file and HMP silicone grease File, for what? Mine are still squealing til...

The squeak is caused by the same effect as a bow drawn over a violin string. It resonates against the back of a pad with the calliper. Poor quality pads sometimes cause this, easily cured with HMP silicone grease, molybdate grease or copperslip Bedding in never cured my squeal ..it just got worse K...

As a quick fix to get me on holiday the other week...i used some domestic cable fixings and replaced the nails for self tappers. I use nice rope on mine and have a knot each side so they wont slide out.

Mine being a Diamond RV conversion has both a waste and fresh water tank underneath, im going to remove them both when i lower it as they will cause problems with road humps.
