Re: Which coil for a 1.9 dg?
You may be able to help me further. I've tested my old coil and the readings for primary/secondary circuits are coming out at 2.9 and 0.9 Ohms respectively (or is it the other way around). That, and the fact that it's obviously old, would suggest the coil is toast, right?

Which coil for a 1.9 dg?
The sticker has rubbed off so I can’t identify which to get as a replacement. Does it matter? Green, grey or the other one?

Paint source
Hello,
I have a Merian brown club joker which needs a couple of tiny areas touching up. I've found a few places that can supply 400mm cans and a touch up for the correct code, but does anyone have a particular recommendation?

Re: Replacing the dashboard plastic PCB
Thanks for that. I'll PM Chris and get me one of them kits I think.
Mine's a 1.9 DG. I found the problem, it was a bad earth on the starter motor.

Re: Replacing the dashboard plastic PCB
I've just messaged him too. But in preparation, can someone tell me what resistance wire I need, thin sleeve? 20 amp? I'm not sure. I'#ve found a suitable 15 pin connector https://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/multipin-wiring-connectors-15-way-single" onclick="window.open(this.href);retur...

Re: 1.9 DG Coils and flat spots
T25s don’t have points, unless someone has been silly in the past and messed      I grew up on type 1s. So, how do I check if it's a worn dizzy? Any wiki's anywhere? I was looking at some of the vacuum hoses today and some are a bit frayed. I might go right through and...

1.9 DG Coils and flat spots
Hello all. My bus has a flat spot and a slight misfire. It's an '84 1.9 DG WBX. It has the early 115B Coil in it. I've checked the circuits and 2nd is within tolerance, 1st is about 10% out once I've acciounted for the Ohmeter's resistance. Is this enough to warrant a new coil? And I was wondering i...

Re: VW T25 speedo cables
New cable successfully ordered from Brickwerks. Thanks for that! But I have found JustKampers to be absolutely spot on in the past, and refund without quibble, so I personally have no complaints with them. When I contacted them about this they immediately held their hands up and refunded. You can't ...

VW T25 speedo cables
Hiya,
The normally reliable JustKampers mislabelled all of their screw in speedo cables as push fit, hence they sent me the wrong one.
Does anyone know if the drive cable can be inter-changed? ie, can I slide out my old drive cable and put it into the existing sheath?

Budget for bodywork?
So how much would you expect to pay to have minor seam rust dealt with and a decent blowover? I've got about £2k to invest, but have no idea what it costs.
And I realise this is a 'piece of string' question, but any pointers gratefully received.
