1.9 DG Petrol 1989 Autosleeper
Hi, My van seems to stay on choke for an awful long time, I have changed the pull down unit thinking it was failing but it does not appear to have done the trick. I ran the van at idle with the air intake trunking off, and applied pressure to the choke valve to see if there was reistance (As per Hay...

SORTED!
Only just managed to get hold of some contact cleaner but its done the trick!
Thanks for all the help, would have tried before but since the multimeter was showing voltage at the switch I wrongly assumed it was working. Anyway all sorted and for £0 which is always nice!

Once I shorted the correct two wires out to in effect bypass the switch the wipers and motor did what they were supposed to so it must be the switch at fault. Therefore does anyone know where best ...

T25 high top 1.9 fuel consumption
Hi, Got a 1.9 petrol high top transporter autosleeper conversion which seems to drink fuel quicker than Oliver Reed sank the good stuff. I appreciate on occasion I only travel 5 miles in to work and obviously the return home. From this it delivers 75 miles to 23ltrs which would appear to be 15 -17 m...

Oil leak 1989 type 25
Hi, Got an annoying oil leak on my 1.9 petrol engine, it appears to be coming from the oil filler pipe where it joins the engine via a manifold type joint. Should this have a gasket? or is it a dry joint that perhaps hylomar will overcome? The engine was replaced 12000 miles ago before I bought the ...
