Hi All,
If it possible to jump start my 1984 petrol camper using the leisure battery, which is situated next to it, or does the internal wiring set up prevent that from being possible?
Please advise, thank you. Jerry

Re: Alternator wiring
Thanks for replying, are you saying that the two larger wire can be connected either way round because they join together once inside the alternator body?

Alternator wiring
Hi All, A flat battery led me to check if my fan belt had snapped, no. What I did find was evidence of a small fire that had destroyed the wiring on the back of my alternator. Bypassing the cooling fan
Hi all. I have a 1984 1900cc water cooled T25. When stuck in traffic the fan comes on but not before the engine has got very hot. My cure, would be to fit an additional switch in the cab, so that I could override the system and turn on the fan sooner. Does anyone have wiring ideas please, Jerry

Gas water heater fitter
Hi all, I have installed a brand new water heater in my T25 and I'm locking for someone in the Maidstone area to connect the gas supply and check the flue etc. Does anyone know of a good, cheap, reliable, competent, hard working, gas fitter. Cheers, Jerry

Hi revs on idle
Hi all, I own a 1984 water cooled 1900cc petrol camper. It starts first time and runs good, but, there's a problem if I'm stationery in traffic. The revs increase as it gets hotter. More revs, more heat. More heat, more revs. Do any of you talented people know the cause and the remedy? Jerry.
