Re: cooling issue, or rather not cooling

Okay update is that all seemed good after replacing thermostat, rad switch, header tank, its cap and sensor. So I fitted a split charge relay and bought a leisure battery too. However I've now noticed a little coolant from the lower central cowl for the heater vents near the foot pedals. I suspect h...

Alternator connections for split charge relay.

Just wiring up a sit charge relay so I can install a liesure battery for lighting etc. The diagram states I have to connect the relay via the alternator and says the positive should be connected to the D+ connection on the alternator. Anyone know what colour wires relates to that connect or which on...

Hot and cold Blower

I'm trying to identify a problem by eliminating any potential faults. Obvious choice before attempting removing the complete dash for access to the blower motor. Soon......Besides the possibility of the hot and cold blower motor being knackered, what other potential causes may render the hot and col...

Fuse board identification.

Hi all.
I wondering where to find the list that shows what fuses are for what. I don't seem to have anything in my van to allow me to identify the fuses. :(
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Radiator switch

I think I've sorted the van 8) Changed the header tank, level sensor and also the fan switch. All pressurised, no leaks and fan kicks in. Temp gauge reads as it should do. :ok Oh I do feel proud of myself. And after only 3 hrs sleep after nights too. Now for a shower and off to wor...

Re: Radiator switch

:ok This explains why it didn't work then. I've tried braiding the connections to the fan and it kicks in on both. I'm guessing......hoping, it's the sensor. Although I have also found a pin prick hole below the pressure cap on the header tank which spirits water when pressure and heat builds. I ass...

Re: Radiator switch

Should putting it into a cup of hot water plugged in make the fan kick in?
I tried this earlier with the new one, although it was hard to keep in cup due to shortness of wires.
It also didn't work so unsure of new one being duff or just an inadequate way of testing.
