Re: Newbie buying a T25. Do they all rot/engine/gbox?
I'll echo above comments, bodywork is priority number 1, 2 and 3. Any van showing signs of rusty seams will be a lot worse behind the panel. Key is to get under / in / around every van you look at, and you may look at a few. Any genuine seller will have no problem with you taking along a set of ramp...

Key Options
Hope everyone is enjoying the seasonal weather. I've managed to confuse myself (not difficult) with options for key(s) / locks. Went to collect latest T25 project and the gut storing to said "hope it's not a hassle but I can't find the key". Not the end of the world as it turns out an unid...

Re: Garage in Falkirk / West Lothian Area for Gear Linkage.
If you get stuck, you can always remove the linkage and engage reverse by hand by operating the selector manually I think the way it's going I may be selecting all gears that way, gonna be a bit tricky on the move though! Had another couple of hours at it this afternoon, got reverse / 1st / 2nd / 3...

Re: Garage in Falkirk / West Lothian Area for Gear Linkage.
Cheers for that multisi, it would appear I may have a combo of early and late. I have the angled ball housing (part 28) from the top left diagram but the gearstick from the top right diagram. Probably not helping so I'll look to standardise one way or the other. I'll need to go and at least make sur...

Re: Garage in Falkirk / West Lothian Area for Gear Linkage.
Very sorry for delay, I thought I had a couple of free days then got a last minute job. I'm either going to fall asleep soon or have another look at it this afternoon. When I got the van it was all in boxes, chap told me he had got a 5 speed box with proper rods etc, I have no reason not to believe ...

Garage in Falkirk / West Lothian Area for Gear Linkage.
Hello, Anyone know of a garage in Falkirk / West Lothian area who would have some experience with gear linkages. No matter how many hours (many so far) I spend at it I cannot get 4th or 5th. Been through every post, including my own when I first put the linkage together, turned front rod, back rod, ...

Re: Intermittent Power Loss
Cheers for the push carrera, just what I needed (again!). As luck would have it my timing gun, that I found in a box of bits with the van didn't work, but I reset everything as per instructions here and started from scratch, turned the dizzy till it sounded better, adjusted the idle and went for a r...

Intermittent Power Loss
Good afternoon, Project Grub Dub is back on track after being too busy for couple of weeks. Passed MOT and have posted pic of pizza oven frame over on 'What did you do to your T25 today' if anyone is interested / wanting a laugh. Van is intermittently loosing power which feels very much like fuel st...

Re: 5 speed linkage setup
Probably already done this but just in case. I posted last week re my 5 speed set up after fitting the linkage. Up front it all felt good and stick seemed to be selecting gears well however I couldn't get reverse and 2nd was a lottery. The advice from here that worked for me was loosing off the pinc...

Re: High Top Test Fit - Now Fitted
Ah that's satisfying to know what the holes were for (not so good that you both had leaks). Heavy rain last night and dry this morning so one less issue to deal with. Inside will be very simple so I should spot any ingress before it gets too bad.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Re: Engine Hatch Access
Restless night dreaming of that bloody trailer above! Hope you got your pizza and beer Swebby. Inside of van will contain pizza oven, two fridges, one chilled pizza prep station, stainless table top, hand wash unit, two pour over coffee jugs, Victron inverter/charger and one/two 220Ah batteries (dep...

Re: Engine Hatch Access
Cheers for replies. Liking the sliding rail idea and will chat through with local fabricators (way beyond my welding skills), even if it was another frame oven could slide onto that would work. I'll take pics on the off chance anyone is interested, oven should arrive in 3 weeks. May look at uprated ...

Re: High Top Test Fit - Now Fitted
Cheers. Found a little pool of water on engine hatch this morning (quite a bit of rain). There’s never been a leak before so it was definitely after high top was fitted. There were 6 little holes from I assume internal trim previously fitted and one was quite low in gutter area and the extra water c...
