I used the v shaped, didn't realise there was 2 marks, plugs all gapped correct and right colour, will have another look tomorrow after work as going brands hatch for the touring cars at the weekend.

a master cylinder isn't expensive and the state of the fluid that come out it wont hurt to replace.

all appears to be seated correctly and I drove it 30 miles earlier but still has a pressure fault, if pumped it seams o.k but press the peddle a bit slower and its not pushing down on the arm far enough, definitely no visible leaks and clear fluid coming through.

Yes clear fluid now, have bled it a few times locking the nipple off before the pedal is lifted each time.

I have been playing about with the van today and have found the split charge relay to be fried, the relay on it is an old Halfords split charge for fridge and aux battery, I have looked in wiki but was wondering if someone can tell me if the relay in the below link is suitable.
