We also had a problem with our window, the middle sliding window seal was perished and it was near on impossible to find the correct piece of seal to make it work. Also have a few pictures of that if you're interested

You can see the top of the unit here, we also had some water damage behind and in the sill, it was from the fridge vent! :x

Chucked a throw over the old seat covers, also made some blackout curtains and bunting

Some areas on ours were replaced with other wood, this panel and the top of the unit. The trim wasn't replaced on the top

Just seen this :( I'll see if I have a pic in the archive, the water was pooling in the inside aluminium bit, but seems to be seeping between the rubber and the frame

Ok this is where water has come in today, although it has been pooling in the aluminium bit (inside) this is a factory window, it's a caravelle :)
