Re: Keep and fix or sell on??

Look at your usage. Depending on how much you actually use it and what it costs, you might be better off selling it and a locating a budget to rent one for one or two trips a year and for that to still work out cheaper

Can you recommend a good mechanic in south london

Hi - I am looking for a good campervan mechanic in south london for an MOT and a few bits - can any one recommend one please? I am sw19 so can come south out of london as well.

You will be doing us both a favour! ;-)

Re: To cover or not to cover (that is the question)

Hi - i am a first time owner (my 1st camper and 1st 4 wheel vehical!).

I was planning on getting a cover for the camper for the winter - is it just the faff factor that is putting people off, or is there something actually negative / detrimental about using a cover?

Re: Best place to sort a flat tire?

Okay cool cool thanks for the advice! :-) I'll probably try and get the tire off as I imagine it'll be cheaper to do it myself. Can I leave the van up on the jack for a couple of days while the tire is out? It's parked on a slope at the moment. The flat is a front tire - i think the handbrake is on ...

I've sprung my first flat tire. I got it home so no emergency rush...

...what's the best way to sort this? The van didn't come with a spare.

Replacing front glass £70 through AutoGlass

HI, I have a chip in my front glass (pasenger side). Called the insurance, I thought they could do a resin repair but apparently it is a little too big, so I am opting for a glass repair. This is costing me £70 excess as done through my insurance Via Auto Glass. If you have a chip and you are close ...

Re: Help with my oil leak please guys!!

If you are draining the oil.. it is easier to do when the oil is slightly warm, so run the engine, turn it off again, and then drain it when the oil is warm.

Not hot - don't burn yourself!

Re: Urgent! Which coolant do I use?

I had BLUE In there so I topped up blue.
All sorted!

Thanks guys. Really glad I didn't accidentally mix my coolants - that could have led to all sorts of problems longer term :-)

Have a great weekend all!
