Cheers for the advice.
Coil replaced.
Electric fuel pump fitted.
New fuel and air filter
New exhaust and heat transfer units (old exhaust failed the mot)
Carbs being refurbished at the moment along with the distributor shaft.
I am hoping to at least be able to narrow it down and find the problem.

T3 Mad Minutes

I have a 1982 Aircooled 2ltr. It is not used during the week, only at weekends. When it is used, without fail, it always splutters and dies at some point unless I rev it high while juggling the clutch and handbrake but even then it might still die. This could happen randomly at any point in the jour...
