Re: Building a hybrid turbo
Umm 70mph of course... It'll go higher, the speedo will say 75 and that's about 4000rpm, I'm running 225/75/17 wheel/tyre set up so I think my speedo's about 20% slow. It's not really top end I'm after as I'm limited to my gearbox ratios and that's my project for next year. The thing is, the turbo r...

Building a hybrid turbo
Hi there I'm thinking about modifying my triple K k03 turbo, I'm proposing changing the impeller from a standard k03-03 to a k03-052 from a later model. At the moment it's on a aaz engine that's had about as much done to it as possible, I've had the head skimmed, ported and polished, I'm running hig...

Cool I'll give that a go at the weekend, as the bus is in use most days.

Re: Temperature gauge doing funny things, help please...
Hi there, the red flashing light only comes on at start up as does the oil pressure light and orange glow plug light, they all go away when the engine fires, the fuel gauge is fine it stays the same with either lights on or off. The needle for the temp drops to cold as if turning the ignition off wh...

Temperature gauge doing funny things, help please...
Hi there I'm a new member here and I've a little problem with my '82 camper, I've done a 1Y engine swap and replaced most of the things the previous owner had DIY'd, now if I turn the lights on the temp gauge stops working, all the other dials are fine and the gauge is good with lights off. I've don...
