Got a local firm to respray but going to paint the roof myself with Rustoleum to keep the costs down. 2 years down the line and nearly ready for the mot.

Just removed off side rear wheel arch and found this hole on the bulkhead. Can anyone tell me if it needs to be filled in or should there be a grille to allow air into the engine compartment. Cheers, DL

Reading quite a lot about blasters being used on the seams. Could somebody enlighten me please on what machine to buy. I have a compressor (I assume they work on air) thanks in advance
