knocking noise on startup

Can anyone tell me what this could be. I have a 1981 t25. It was parked on a slight uphill, and when I fired the engine there was a loud "dat dat dat dat" metallic noise from the engine. I checked the oil level which was between min & max, and then put in an extra litre of oil, and it ...

Sliding Window felt T25

Does anyone have a source for the felt which seals the sliding window channel in my t25? Mine has agone all yucky and letting in water. Do you have to remove the glass to fit it. The rain's only coming in at one point right in the lower corner which is easily accessible. Do you think I would get awa...

Door Seal

Thanks for the info re. the glue.

I meant that I will have to cut the NEW seal (which is one continuous loop at the moment) at some point, as I don't want to take the door off.

I suspect I should cut the new seal at the bottom - any advice?

Door seal

Any tips on fitting the sliding door seal on a t25?

I don't really want to take the door off, so it means cutting the seal at some point. Where's the best place to make the cut - I suspect at the bottom somewhere? What type of glue should I use? Any tips generally?
