Hi Top Roof Advice Needed Please
Hi All I have a hi top roof and all down the guttering on the driver's side there is tape covering a split in the gutter (presumably a makeshift repair by the previous owner). On closer inspection the hi top seems to be split along most of the length of the van - the hi top moves inwards when you pr...

Re: Battery Wiring Help Please
Cheers. To be honest I can live without the stereo as I have a Bluetooth speaker that is better quality and holds a 10 hour charge - the main use will be interior lights (currently 2x8 watt fluorescent tubes) and a couple of cigar sockets for charging iPhones etc as well as charging/running any led ...

Re: Battery Wiring Help Please
Hi CovKid
Thanks for your reply - it's very helpful - and thanks for the links - some useful reading for me there. I also saw your wiki entry about using a junction box off the positive terminal. I think I'll have to learn to solder and give this a go too.
Cheers
Dave

Hi All I've searched the wiki but still have a couple of questions that I'm hoping someone might be able to help me with please. I've pasted a photo of my starter battery compartment below. I have just bought a new leisure battery but haven't yet connected it as the wiring looks dodgy and is gaffer ...

Re: Stupid battery question!
Thanks for the quick reply CovKid - I asked the oil question last time  To be honest I'd rather use the designated space as it would just become dead space and I'd lose a cupboard. Doesn't need to be a huge battery - just enough for lights mainly plus maybe charging phones/tablets. I did try t...

Stupid battery question!
Hi all I've decided to invest in a new leisure battery and have taken out the old one - which was dead. Have only had the van a couple of weeks so am still finding my way around it. The old one measured approx 26cm long, 17cm wide and 21cm high. Have had a look at the battery box and can only get a ...

Have I been sold the wrong oil?
Hi All I have a 1990 1.9 petrol wasserboxer and want to change the oil as I have just bought the van. I ordered via GSF using their 'right part for your vehicle' option on the website and they have given me 10w 40 semi synthetic oil. I just wanted to check that this is the right oil before I use it ...
