We bought one of the telescopic ladders from Maplins.
Used to get up into the bed and then laid flat from side to side as long as it will extend in the space, this then filled the gap.

Re: Identifying my camper High- High Top
Neil,
Not 100% it is that roof but does look similar.
He built/builds rally T3s and other parts, found his website here:

Re: Identifying my camper High- High Top
I think it could be a bernd-jaeger roof. There was a similar one on ebay a SCA 400 that sold recently but with windows in the sides. It is a big roof: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-T25-Big-High-Top-/201406204556?hash=item2ee4beca8c&nma=true&si=UxdWzzfNqnoymDUXnl4D95UJBQI%253D&orig_cvip=tr...

Re: Camper Conversion.
Graham,
A lot of people buy or own ready converted vans.
Do you need a full conversion or just panelling?
I am sure some one will be able to provide a reasonable conversion company soon.

Possible other option is to use an over sized plug.

Re: Devon pop top fitting help.
I helped fit one a few years ago. If you have the fibreglass surround that the bed boards fit into there is no need for re enforcing. You cut the hole to allow for some metal to be bent up 90 deg and then screw or rivet the surround on, you should not remove any of the strengthening bars only the ou...

Re: Making the pull out bed part in a high top.
That's looking really good Jon.
I just used a block of wood each side to stop the bed sliding when in bed position, you could even cover with carpet.
Ours is open at the front, can t decide if to put a cupboard there or not yet.

Re: Making the pull out bed part in a high top.
Jon I cant remember if it was 10 or 12 meters, but ours is a bit taller than yours and although we only did the high top we did the bed boards and the rear door card. We also had a bit left over. The glue did not react with the foil that we put on (double sided bubble foil on a roll from the likes o...

No we didn't use the stretchy stuff, we used the normal.
it does give a bit, but cant compare to the stretchy stuff as never used it.
The high temp glue though is brill, nearly a year on and nothing has come unstuck.

Re: Making the pull out bed part in a high top.
Jon,
We didn't use any batons, just glued straight into the roof with the foil and the carpet, saves a bit of valuable space inside, although ours had no batons when we took the old carpet off.

Re: Help identifying cooker grill
Could it be a Flavel, Spiniflo or Smev?
But to be honest unless your happy you can fix it I would replace it, do you really want to be messing about with gas for a few quid?
