Still not getting time to finish this conversion but.... I want to use the JX exhaust manifold without the turbo fitted. I need to have made an adapter pipe that fits manifold and std. JX pipework without the turbo - i.e. an elbow. Anyone done this? Any dimensions for turbo etc. Any better ideas? Re...

We left both manifolds on. Just a little clearencing of nsr chassis rail / engine bay required. Thought this would be best - just got to sort an air filter for it now. Exhaust - not attempted yet but was hoping to make a link pipe from 1Y manifold to JX silencer. Just wiring, exhaust and air filter ...

OK We've got it in complete with original manifolds - small amount of clearencing needed. All hoses etc. connected just fuel tank and wiring to do. What and where do you use as an airfilter - currently thinking of JX next to gearbox. Or, original Golf box cut n shut into n/s rear corner. Or, K&N...

Engine & 'box in complete with all water pipes, just exhaust, air filter and wiring to sort now.

After nearly 7 months of not seeing my van to continue convrersion - mainly due to second nipper - we are about to start again next week.

What water pipe do I use from block to oil filter etc onto rad hose?

Is this a JX pipe and where do I get one or do you need to cut n shut?
