Some say, that Kolbenschmidt (OEM Manufacter) will produce the bearings again. They will be avaiable approx. july this year.
I don't know if there are going to be more sizes than std.

Great Job
One question: Which head casket rings did you use, or did you machined them?

Re: WBX MV/DJ oversized crankshaft bearings
Hi everyone,
a small update on this. I also asked on samba, and got some hints. Finally I wrote to 6 shops and maybe I found oversized bearings with standard crank i Wisconsin. At least you can get +0.5mm/-0.25mm in the states.
cheers Oliver

Re: WBX MV/DJ oversized crankshaft bearings
....No line boring here, until it's absolutely necessary! So you mean: Grind or not to grind, that's the boring question.... But it is even hard to get the +0.50mm/-0.25mm-ones. Just like the oversized... or do you have some? Before I don't have them in my hands, I don't look for other cranks. chee...

Re: WBX MV/DJ oversized crankshaft bearings
Well, my engine has approx. 175.000 miles on it. The colour of the case right at the studs of the main bearing is greyish (one main indicator). Unfortunatly I don't have pix of my engine... I got this one from Martin Blank: http://preview.ibb.co/fJ7qXF/WBX_Motorgehaeuse.jpg I brought it do an engine...

Re: WBX MV/DJ oversized crankshaft bearings
Hi itchy, thanks for you very quick reply. You have been one of the geniuses I've been hoping for... As you mention to regrind the crank for 0.25 undersize, is what I didn't wanted to do. Of course, if there is no hope, I'll have to... Unfortunately is this bearing also sold out by the mom...
