Looks like the primary winding on the ignition coil was breaking down when hot incase anyone was wondering. Happy days now it's changed.

oil temperature sensor for air cooled ??
Hi all
Can anybody advise what sort of temp sensor is compatible with my 2 litre air-cooled. I've looked on just kampers and the dipstick type won't fit a t25 and sump plug sensors are only available for t4.

Cold Start fine ,warm start not so good.
Hi all. I'm hoping somebody can shed some light on this problem. My 2 litter air cooled starts fine from cold but after a couple of hours driving if I switch it off and then try to start it warm an hour or so later it finds it very difficult to catch. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas why befor...
