Re: Curtain question

If you want them to be gathered rather than 'stretched' across the windows, then allow about 1.5 x width. Measure each window separately and then speak to someone in a material shop. They will be able to tell you how much material to buy. I'm sure you could also get that info off the internet, too. ...

Re: Panel van - Carpet lining

Is it easy to do the ply lining? Our van's carpet lining is like a dust storm cos it's so old and we're looking to renew it sometime. We're both pretty good at the practical side of things, but not sure what we might find when we pull off the present stuff. Also it's a hi-top, so do we just continue...

Re: carburettor problem.

Thanks aj, I've emailed them this morning to see if they can help. We assumed that it had a Pierburg when we bought it and got an overhaul kit for that, but then we couldn't get it to fit!! Still, we're getting closer to getting it up and running and have started the interior as well now. Exciting t...

Re: carburettor problem.

Ideally, that's what we'd like to do but haven't been able to track one down! Do you know of a supplier?

carburettor problem.

Thanks for previous help on these forums. Really appreciate it all. Our 1986 T25 has been fitted with Weber 34 DAT carb, but the engine doesn't run well possibly due to the carb being worn. We're looking to replace it. Any suggestions of where to get a replacement or even an overhaul kit for the Web...

Re: Starts but wont stop!

Told you we'd be back! When the engine was changed over, our 'assistant' (pop) pulled the wires off the carburettor and didn't label them. Any help on which order they reconnect please? Thank you.

Re: Starts but wont stop!

We got the engine from Just Kampers as they could deliver it really quickly and we're short on time as hubby works offshore. And Scottish weather can get in the way, too! Bought Daisybell a few months ago, but she'd been lying for four years unused, and the old engine was shot. No water or anti-free...

Starts but wont stop!

1986 T25 1.9 watercooled engine. We've put in a reconditioned engine. It starts well, but when we switch off and remove the key, the engine is still running. Even when we disconnected the battery, it still ran on! Help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
