Hi , my oil light does not come on when switching on the ignition. all other thing's work on the instrument cluster. The wires back to both oil pressure switches to the instrument cluster are ok, I have put the wire to ground from the pressure switch near the cylinder heads, but still the oil light ...

in a word no. glow plug light off the top of my head, rev counter works differently between diesel and petrol. Thanks, mine is a 1.9 petrol with no rev counter and because the electrical plug is wired for a petrol engine I thought the glow light would not be connected and everything else would work...

Mine never worked when i got the van. The gauge would go up slightly but no were near to the accepted half way point. I got the sender out and took my dremel to it with a wire brush attachment. Did the same to the wire and now it works like a charm :) Many thanks, is the sender fitted to the thermo...
