Just noticed relay marked 18 (bottom row second from the left) is warm to touch. From what I have found this is the load reduction relay. Could this be the mysterious buzzing at 40mph. Some forums say that they should get slightly warm as it runs a lot through it constantly.
What do we think ?

Relay chatter at 40mph
Hi all. Picked up my van today
I have noticed that when it hit 40mph ish I start to hear what sounds to be a relay chatter from the glove box ( real fast clicking). Thought it was trim rattle but now pretty convinced it's a relay.
Any ideas at 40 mph this could be ??
Thanks

Re: New Owner - Child Car Seat
I've just done the same thing in my new (to me that is!!) autohomes komet-based on a panel van so no fixings in the body work. Wasn't too bad to do yourself if you're handyish-just put four holes in the body behind the seats after taking out the air vent for access-these supported the belt reels an...

Re: New Owner - Child Car Seat
Ok, seems simple enough. Thanks
I guess I will wait till I pick the van up and have a look to see exactly what the base vehicle is.
Thanks again

New Owner - Child Car Seat
I have just purchased myself a 1988 Holdsworth Villa 3, well i pick it up in a week and cant wait. A quick question? My young lad is 6 years old and i know that the van is fitted currently with 2 lap belts in the rear. How hard would this be to convert to a 3 point harness, even if on one side only,...
