T4 steel rims
I am hoping that I may have a solution to my Doka rim problem.The15" Merc rims I bought are too weak to use on what will essentially be a working pickup carry at times almost a ton of firewood. It seems that T4 6J 15"rims will fit and should, according to the tyre fitter I asked, take the 215...
15" Mercs
I had hoped to use some 15" steel merc rims on a Doka which will be used to carry up to its limit of firewood(not at speed obviously) on and offroad.I read somewhere that they are not up to the job weight wise(rims not the Doka).Any similar experiences/solutions?Al

Missing fog lamps!
Yes indeed.Grey/white cable. No switch and annoyingly clusters which appear to accept a bulb but are missing the rear contact.Problem solved with a £3 lamp which will do for MOT.I've found it cheaper to take these off after the test since they always get smashed(by me atleast) off road!
AT tyres
Any suggestions for All Terrain tyres.I'm likely to use my Doka 50/50 on/off road.Colway CTrax look good value.Anybody tried them? Thanks.Al

fog lamps
Thanks for your responses.I don't actually have a fog lamp switch up front which complicates things a bit.I think your right that there should be one and that all the wiring to the rear cluster is there.I'm wondering if there is room to use 5 or6 on the the fuse holder t wire one in.

Wiring fog lights
Does anybody have experience of getting the rear fog lights going on a Doka?I've just brought it from Germany where they don't seem to insist on them. The rear lights seem to have a spare red lense each which also have a corresponding bulb holder. Is it possible to put a bulb in here and connect a wi...

Thanks for the feedback on wheels and CVboots.I've just bid on some Merc rims fairly locally (before I checked this forum-ho hum, that's life).I need some pretty tough tyres(i think) since the Doka will have to replace the Hilux in the woods, but may well go for a more dual purpose set as well(makes m...

My new toy!!
I am a relative newcomer to the syncro scene and having met Aidan and some other enthusiasts at Llanfyllin (I was the chap in the Hilux fresh from a muddy swim at the festival) I decided to take a trip this last weekend to eastern Germany to see a Doka.No rust(honest) and mechanically good,it made t...
