No play that I can feel. It happens so infrequent I can’t make out if corner affects it but I’m leaning towards right hand bend may bring it on.
CV joints have only got about 10k on them as I changed them all.

Occasional Knock
Hi Read through other posts but none seem to match up really. Very occasionally at about 15mph and just for a second or two I have noticed a knocking from the left rear, the last couple of times I’ve been out. Not a rumble like a wheel bearing but a knock, knock, knock. Goes away very quickly and on...

Re: water proof box come bag for roof recess
These are obviously not purpose made for these vans but if you can get the right size I can highly recommend them. I’ve used one in all weathers on the boot and they are superb.

Re: Fuel Sender….have i got the right year?
Thanks. That’s a really interesting thread….some clever bods out there. Way above my head, but yes it seems like even with the wrong sender I should be at least getting a larger reading that I am with a full tank. Can anyone confirm the thinking please? Unfortunately everything is fitted and I don’t...

Fuel Sender….have i got the right year?
E D I T….the gauge randomly started working fine today. I think the float may have been stuck for some reason. Hi Just had the petrol tank replaced and of course the sender unit. The van is an E reg (‘87) therefore I got the late sender unit ‘86 on. When they added fuel the gauge moved, but there wa...

Re: Fuel tank replacement
Shouldnt need to replace them that often, what type are they, where do you buy them from. there are some bad quality fuel hoses , get the ones from Brickwerks for safety. I know, but just something I have general done after finding the lines like sieves when I first bought the van. Bit of paranoia ...

Re: Fuel tank replacement
Fuel lines are always a good shout. I’m good there at the moment. I replace every 2 years at least.
Thanks

Re: Fuel tank replacement
Hi I came to ask the same question, but saw your post. Did you get sorted? Here's what I have put together from Brickwerks not sure if I am missing anything. Fuel Tank - T3 / Late Fuel Level SenderT3 / '86> Rubber Pad for Fuel Tank - T3 / 2WD x 4 Fuel Filler Surround - T3 Fuel Filler Rubber Neck - ...

Re: Dented Pushrod tube - How bad?
Does the bus go with you in one week? It's an easy job. Certainly wouldn't take a week to fix. 2 weeks in Cornwall.....arghh. Thanks for the reassurance...just been on YouTube :-) Going to see my guy that fitted the engine later today to hopefully get him to fit me in. I don't have access to a dri...

Dented Pushrod tube - How bad?
Hi Folks
How bad is this? Not leaking and engine sounds fine. It's on a new engine that's just done 500 miles....grrr, arggh....and various four letter words! Don't ask.
I know it needs sorting but I go away in 1 week so want to know if it can wait?

Re: 3-way to compressor
Thanks folks. Solar and CRX50 on order. Bring on the cold beer! Do you need the massive capacity of a 50? its a lot of dead space when its not being used as a fridge - and it weights a lot more than an empty cupboard. We eat a lot of fresh food which tends to take up more space and it will mean whe...
