Re: Fuel leak (sometimes)
Mine did this the other day. Filled the tank, came out from paying and noticed fuel leaking from the top of the tank. Same scenario, new tank about 9 months ago…the old one was rotten. In a week or so I have it booked in with the guy why fitted it to drop the tank and take a look. On mine it was th...

Re: Coolant leak while cooling down
Well that’s all a pretty depressing read!! That thread totally passed me by. Made me go back and check and it’s actually 2 years since the engine was done (old grey matter going I think). I’ve done 4k miles with no engine troubles, no overheating. Temps are consistent and runs sweet actually. I know...

Re: Coolant leak while cooling down
About twelve months? Still under warranty? Take it back. If dripping from engine it could be sorted out under warranty. Start listing the whereabouts of these ramdom leaks? Get a large sheet of cardboard under your camper and place it where you believe it is losing coolant. That will give you some ...

Re: Van not starting after winter sitting
I’m no expert but does sound like fuel pump or filter blocked. There’s a filter underneath near the fuel tank. Do you know if it using the original fuel pump or after market electric pump? If the electric pump you should hear it clicking when you turn on the ignition. They can fail but cheap and eas...

Coolant leak while cooling down
Hi Folks Hoping someone can put me out of my misery. Had a new engine fitted about 12 months ago and ever since had the odd coolant leak which kept moving to different places. The radiator then sprang a leak so had that changed about a month ago. It was the only part of the cooling system I didn’t r...

Give them a ring, they will sort you out. They do have a bit of a lead time usually though as so popular. Proper old school knowledge.

Re: Occasional Knock
No play that I can feel. It happens so infrequent I can’t make out if corner affects it but I’m leaning towards right hand bend may bring it on.
CV joints have only got about 10k on them as I changed them all.

Occasional Knock
Hi Read through other posts but none seem to match up really. Very occasionally at about 15mph and just for a second or two I have noticed a knocking from the left rear, the last couple of times I’ve been out. Not a rumble like a wheel bearing but a knock, knock, knock. Goes away very quickly and on...

These are obviously not purpose made for these vans but if you can get the right size I can highly recommend them. I’ve used one in all weathers on the boot and they are superb.

Re: Fuel Sender….have i got the right year?
Thanks. That’s a really interesting thread….some clever bods out there. Way above my head, but yes it seems like even with the wrong sender I should be at least getting a larger reading that I am with a full tank. Can anyone confirm the thinking please? Unfortunately everything is fitted and I don’t...

Fuel Sender….have i got the right year?
E D I T….the gauge randomly started working fine today. I think the float may have been stuck for some reason. Hi Just had the petrol tank replaced and of course the sender unit. The van is an E reg (‘87) therefore I got the late sender unit ‘86 on. When they added fuel the gauge moved, but there wa...
