Re: Electrics.....??

Thanks folks! Impeccable advice as ever! The connection is in indeed the 12v connection for the fridge. The fridge has a built in switch to switch over to 12v and an indicator LED. I’ll switch the power over to the main battery and look to install a relay ay some point too just in case.  The other f...

Re: Electrics.....??

Hi The fridge is electric ignition but that is still working with the fuse pulled.....the ignition light flashes anyway. I’m wondering based on what’s been said if the 12v fridge element has been wired to the leisure battery as that has never seemed to work effectively, although I know it’s not grea...

Electrics.....??

Hi Hoping someone with much more knowledge can educate me please? I noticed a fuse off my leisure battery had had some heat to the point of melting the casing but don’t think the fuse (7.5A) had actually blown. I have no idea what this is feeding though. With the fuse pulled i can’t see anything not...

Re: Solar on Komet roof?

Ok.....life goal there  :D

Can you tell me more about the set up please?  Hadn't even looked at multiple panels as an option yet.

Thanks

Solar on Komet roof?

Hi

Has anyone fitted a semi-flexible solar panel to a Komet roof?  The roof has contours which I am not sure a panel will handle?  Any thoughts/advice please...........other than i really need to clean my roof!!!

Fuel regulator

Hi My fuel regulator has sprung a leak on the metal lid. Very odd. Can’t find a replacement in the usual places. JK List one but sold out. I’m assuming these are for generic application. This seems to be the same as mine with the metal bowl minus the pressure gauge attachment. The one listed on JK,l...

Re: Flashing coolant light - sanity check

Thanks folks for your detailed responses.
I have it sorted now (well my father who is much cleverer than I am has been looking at it and sorted it).
Turned out to be dirty connections from the gauge to the PCB. All cleaned up and working great now.
Thanks again

Flashing coolant light - sanity check

I sudden have the coolant flashing light syndrome. I’ve been working through the guides to identify the root cause and am a bit stumped. All levels are fine. I’ve tried methodically disconnecting the level sensor, temp sender and relay 43 in turn and still get the flashing. Shorting out the temp sen...

Brickwerks came up trumps. Apparently it's an item that has been our of production but they have some on order now.

Throttle lever bush

Hi

Does anyone know where I can buy this bush that has collapsed and disappeared on mine - ideally from UK?
I can't find it at any of the usual suppliers although have just put in a mail to Brickwerks.

It's a 1.9DG with standard 2e3 Carb.

Thanks
