Re: Dipped lights not working and dash lights playing up
Thanks for all the help guys 👍 I managed to get my lights working. There was a wire come off and dropped down at the back of the headlight switch a yellow with black stripe. Also I needed to place the wires in the order to match the Go Westy wires which I hadn’t done. Thanks again I can see the road...

Re: Dipped lights not working and dash lights playing up
Yes that’s the earth point on mine. The LED lights where an upgrade from CVC. For some reason I have to hold the stick back for them to stay on. They don’t click and hold on the on position. I think the side lights are also connected with the main lights but I can’t remember. They may be on the main...

Re: Dipped lights not working and dash lights playing up
Hey Any suggestions are welcome. I’ve got LED lights and they work fine as they flash when you pull back on the stick on the steering wheel. This is what’s confusing me. It’s like there is a lack of power to the headlight switch and lights on dash etc I can only see one earth nest near the fuse box ...

Re: Dipped lights not working and dash lights playing up
Hi Thanks for your reply. I’ve got a 2L Aircooled 1983 It’s been running fine I use it every day but the lights have probably not been used due to Summer. The wiring is following instructions from GoWesty for the white plug behind the dash. The earth wires look fine behind fuse box. Is there another...

Dipped lights not working and dash lights playing up
Hi Everyone, Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I have just upgraded the dash lights with a Go Westy GVW-255-919-059-ANCLOCK pack. I didn’t know about the cheaper option. Never mind. Before I fitted the pack there where no dipped headlights only flash on the stick working and all the das...

Re: Intelligent battery charger required - suggestions?
Hi NomadAd
I use a CTEK they are great and charge a flat battery in about 10 hours.
Just pick the one which suits your needs. Mine is the MXS 5.0 Test Charge.
Hope this helps.

Re: Can't open sliding door using inside handle
Hi, I pulled the lock out as I couldn't see anything down the vertical slot. I put the handles back on and figured out what was wrong after figuring how the lock mechanism worked. There was a metal plug which had snapped off. The inside handle relied upon the metal plug to push against so that the d...

Re: Can't open sliding door using inside handle
I have pulled the panel off and it is all connected. There is the usual lock on the inside but no obvious child lock. That's why I thought it might be in the slot at the edge of the door.

Re: Can't open sliding door using inside handle
Hi All,
Thanks for your replies
I think the child lock is a possibility. I opened the door and looked at the edge of the door were the lock part is and there is a vertical slot but no lever to move?
Is this were the child lock is ? Do you stick a screwdriver in it ?
Thanks
Simon
