Re: Wipers gone

Not yet sorted, few other expenses this month have put it on the back burner. The x load circuit seems pretty likely. Hoping to get it sorted soon, good luck. Let me know what sorted yours...

Electrician south east london

Anyone able to fix this for me?

X-load circuit not working. Also wiring could do with some tidying up.

Re: Blocked cat?...

As the parts aren't available and i need to get it back running shortly i've decided to replace the cat and the sensor rather than the whole exhaust. the Cat is quite reasonable even with shipping from bus depot in the states. Generally a much cheaper option than a full new system. Figure it keeps i...

Re: Blocked cat?...

Will change the probe too. Nowhere I've found seems to have the CAT by-pass with a lambda boss at the moment. If anyone has one or knows somewhere with stock please let me know.

Re: Blocked cat?...

Thanks,

Removing the cat seems like a plan, just need to fill that gap with something that has a space for the sensor. I have just emailed Brickwerks to see what they have in their stock to try and sort it out.

Blocked cat?...

Not the feline or Mrs Slocombe variety. 1987, 2.1 MV engine - US spec with Cat. Oil/filter/air filter/coolant/plugs/dizzy/fuel filter etc etc all changed about 2,500 miles ago. Driving back from devon to london last night we were crusing along very happily at 65-70 on the 303. Joined the M3 and sudd...

We were driving through central london and a lot of stop start so it was running fairly hot - rad fan on a lot in traffic. Also more a...

I recently bought and fitted a Beat BSW8ACT 8" Under Seat Sub - bought of ebay. Fits perfectly, sounds great and took 15 mins to wire in! :D

Re: Garages in London

Riverside in Greenwich/Woolwich were very good with mine when I took it, they know these vans pretty well, I also use a local backstreet garage that is just 2 old school mechanics that look after most of the local cab fleets - for any general work they are good, cheap and quick and know what they ar...

Re: Wipers gone

Thanks for help guys, just got back, weather held out so wipers were not a problem really. However I did take off and clean up all the earths and nothing happened. Then a few days later they kicked into life - then they seem to stop working if it's hot. It was around 40C in La Rochelle and as we got...
