Re: intermittent starter issue
Sounds like I have the same issue. Sometimes when I try to start engine turn ignition and just get a click. Try again and it turns over, sometimes just another click. Usually starts after few tries. Do have the hot start relay installed by previous owner, not sure if this has something to do with it...

Passat write off, parts that fit t25
Hi good people, My sister in law had a shunt in a Passat, thankfully she or anyone else wasn't hurt. Looks like car will be a write off. Rather than the car go to the great car God in the sky I wondered what could be salvaged that might fit a t25. Seats, bulbs, relays, that kind of stuff. Obviously ...

Re: Panel lining CAD files
Accuracy with a laser cutter would be down to the drawings used. Students where I work create very intricate designs, cut in a variety of materials. I agree that more traditional methods of cutting would be far more time consuming, and in the end bought ones probably more cost effective, let alone k...

Re: Panel lining CAD files
like the full set on JK, plus for rear where windows would go if they were installed. Thought it may be more cost effective to make a set but perhaps not.

Re: Panel lining CAD files
That would be fantastic and I'm sure others would find useful. If they had original fixing holes more the better. I had no luck searching for the dimensions via Google.

Panel lining CAD files
Hi good people,
I was just wondering if anyone has any plans for ply lining? Ideally as a CAD file or similar. I have access to a laser cutter and was thinking of making my own.
Or if anyone can point me in the right direction.
Many thanks
Andy

Re: Dashboard PCB & dash lights, weird switch
Thanks for the suggestion, looking into the solution you mention. Also considering soldering PCB, seen a few tutorials. Time to get the multi meter out.

Dashboard PCB & dash lights, weird switch
Hi there, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. Also new to VW ownership with a t25 I bought several weeks ago. It's a 1986 tin top that has had rear windows fitted previously. Anyway, the reason for my post, today I installed a rev counter and came across a few things under the dash which...
