I fitted a cheap rev counter to my '91 SA Microbus 2.5 in July. It's a 52mm dia R-Spec one from eBay UK, £35 including a separate housing for it. It works very well except the illumination is rubbish, can't read it easily at night. It needs four wires. 1. Power supply (switched via the ignition). 2....
