What steel>steel bonding compound have people used and would people recommend for restoration work as a supplement for welding panel flanges and overlaps.... maybe even as a replacement for none structural panel joints. OK I have a tailgate on a late (1992) T3 and the inner lower tailgate seam is very rotten with the left hand side almost completely gone. The question I have is does anyone make inner tailgate repair panels? ive seen plenty of outer ones but not come accross inners... anyone help? regards Johnathan

my JX engined bus hasnt got one ot these fitted, I guess it has been lost/removed/not fitted.

Is it worth having one on there?

..if yes does anyone have any of the tin work or are they reproduced?
