the central and inner sills are good and solid thankfully. its the front and rear arches plus steps, lower b-pillar sliding door bottom... tailgate bottom all the usual places. I was thinking of bonding talgate lower and sliding door lower outer to help prevent distortion..... probably the least of ...

Question. What steel>steel bonding compound have people used and would people recommend for restoration work as a supplement for welding panel flanges and overlaps.... maybe even as a replacement for none structural panel joints. Ive seen the 3M panel bond and also the Sikaflex 221 plus many others ...

Still searching. Brickwerks out of stock and not likley to get any more...
Amazing that for a part that is getting really difficult to get hold of that there is no repair panel anymore....

T3 Tailgate Repair Panels
OK I have a tailgate on a late (1992) T3 and the inner lower tailgate seam is very rotten with the left hand side almost completely gone. The question I have is does anyone make inner tailgate repair panels? ive seen plenty of outer ones but not come accross inners... anyone help? regards Johnathan

my JX engined bus hasnt got one ot these fitted, I guess it has been lost/removed/not fitted.
Is it worth having one on there?
