Re: Aerial

Thanks for that. I have been looking at those. Most people recommend them. Does it work lower down like if you used the suction mount on the side of the van?

Cheers

Aerial

Hi, what's the best aerial for use in a t25? What have people found that's easy to use and works as well?

Thanks.

Re: Plumbing advice request - Motorised Valve

Hi,

Change the valve head over this afternoon. Really straight forward job. It took ten mins even with sod all access to it. Three screws and five wires. Heating working perfectly now from the stat. Just like to say thanks for all the advice.

Cheers, Neil.

Re: On board water tank

Thanks for that, will investigate. 1664, you sat clean through the cap under the seat? Any tips on this, or is there a drain plug under neath the tank. I thought a few fills and drains to swill it out and then some purifying tablets to a full tank and leave it to do its business then fill it with fr...

Re: On board water tank

Thanks for the opinions. I think I will carry out a bit of research in to how much it will cost to service it. That might help make my mind up. We have not missed it, having never used it but as Kev says, if it's fitted, we might as well give it a go.

Re: On board water tank

Cheers Phil, We have the level meter and I'm sure I can service or replace the pump, I would need to drill the filler cap off and replace that as well. It would soon add up in parts and we would have to disinfect the tank before use as I do not know the last time it was used. I would have liked a fe...

Re: Figure of 8 or pole and clamp?

I don't think our awning has that pocket for the pole to thread through :run looks like the figure of 8 is my only option.

Re: Figure of 8 or pole and clamp?

How does the pole and clamp work? Does the pole thread into the awning?

Thanks

On board water tank

Hi, My komet conversion has the on board water tank and pump. I have never had the key for the cap to fill it. I have tried the pump and got voltage there but the pump won't run. My question is, with us never having had this available for use and always used one of the containers with the tap in bui...

Re: Gear linkage

I have had a poke about with the linkage this afternoon. From swivel joint to the gearbox seems ok with very little sloppiness. Looked at the lever base and the spring has indeed dropped but I do not know how detrimental this is to my problem? It still needs a firm push down to go across the gate to...

Re: Gear linkage

Thanks Aidan, I am planning to investigate tomorrow afternoon, weather permitting. I need to understand why it has just decided to play up. It really seems as if something has slipped or broken.

Cheers

Re: Gear linkage

Go on, risk it, I would. I just have to be careful when selecting first, to make sure it's not reverse. If you find a permanent fix, can you let me know please.

Thanks

Re: Gear linkage

I will have a look at the weekend. I don't think it is that though as the push down feels really positive. I have to push down as though I am going for reverse, but have push forward for first before the limit of the left hand reverse gate. One point of note, I renewed a hose joiner from the hard pi...

Gear linkage

Hi, After renewing some hoses and fixing the coolant leak, my van has decided that for no apparent reason that it would start it's gear linkage to play up. I'm sure it's possessed. To get first gear, I am having to push the leaver down as though I'm going for reverse and then push forward for first....
