I can't honestly remember how much we paid but it wasn't that much I'm sure. I take it you have shopped around? eBay?

From memory I think we tried to glue it whilst we were waiting for the tank to arrive and it lasted a few days but I doubt it's going to last very long

Pretty sure the bellhousing was clear from oil. I tried to rock the engine and there was some movement side to side, but I'm not sure how much you are supposed to be able to move it? I guess it should have some tolerance. I could probably rock it by about an inch or so. I'm short on time, ability, s...

Thanks so much Kev. I think the noise does go when diping the clutch, yes. It really is just as the clutch is engaging so would make perfect sense. I think my guy checked the engine mounts but will double check that. I will look for this tell tale dribble of oil. Sorry, but where is the bell housing...

I know this is an old thread, but I thought I should clear up what my original problem was. In fact not a leak at the cap at all, it was a very small crack in the tank itself near to the cap. I replaced the tank and it's been fine. Many thanks, Andy

Thanks for all your help, I think we are now sorted, well kind of. That 30amp draw was coming from the manifold heater and was causing a problem. It was on with ignition and if the van didn't start first time then it soon drained the battery. We have disconnected that now (for the time being) and it...

I haven't been able to get round there today. 30amps draw when running I believe.

Guys, please can you help again?

This is all a bit above my head, but my Dad would like to know where does the red cable go after the black box? Apparently this is somehow drawing 30amps! If we can find out where it goes after the black box maybe we can fix the problem.
